M&A Engineering delivers specialist on site machining services including milling, In-line boring, shaft machining, flange facing, pipe cutting, drilling and tapping, alignment and fin-fan machining. We also design and manufacture bespoke equipment for complex or non-standard applications.

ON-SITE MACHINING
- Flange facing
Portable machines for flat, Raised Face, RTJ and compact flanges, and circular components up to 5 metres in diameter.
- Pipe cutting and preparation
Pipe cutting and prepping from 2 inch to 120 inch plus, including match-boring, diameter turning and other applications.
- Milling
Gantry, linear or orbital milling for pump, motor, turbine and compressor bases, Fin Fan banks, exchanger faces, tee-slot machining as well as other non-standard situations.
- In line boring
Compressor cylinder bores and valve seats, marine stern tubes or rudder stocks, excavator buckets, hinge or mounting locations, manway doors and similar applications. Boring diameters available between 20mm and 3 metres as standard.
- Shaft machining
On site repair of damaged shafts that cannot be removed, using squirrel machines or split journal lathes.
- Drilling and tapping
Seized stud removal, new thread tapping and repairs of any size or application.
- Alignment and precision measurement
Laser equipment for both geometric and shaft alignment, optical alignment capabilities as well as Faro-arm metrology measurement equipment for precise and accurate surveys of components.
- Fin-Fan machining
Milling gasket faces, spot facing, tube cutting and plugging, damaged plug removal and pop-a-plug installation.
- Design and manufacture
Bespoke machines can be designed or modified for applications outside the normal operating ranges.

On site controlled hand / hydraulic torque and tensioning
- Hydraulic bolt tensioning
From 3/4" to 4-1/2" stud diameters to any required KSI.
- Hydraulic bolt torquing
Any stud sizes up to a torque valve of 25,000-ft/lb.

Complete turn key service combining fitting, on site machining, controlled bolting and QA.
